We wrote a song called "Pure" to be the ending theme for the anime You and I Are Polar Opposites. I’m really honored we got to be part of bringing this story to life on screen. All of us read the original again and again while we carefully crafted the track. Thanks to the incredible help of Eriko Hashimoto, who we nervously asked to join us, I think we ended up with a song that perfectly colors the everyday world of the show. From one fan to another-six fans, actually-we can’t wait for the broadcast to start.

PAS TASTA is a J-POP project by six sound geeks that debuted in 2022. The members are Uyama Amane, Kabanagu, hirihiri, phritz, quoree, and yuigot, music producers/singer-songwriters who have attracted attention in Japan and abroad. Released their first album "GOOD POP" in 2023.
In 2024, aiming for "massive J-POP," they released their second album GRAND POP, featuring guest performances from eight diverse artists from various genres. Their solo show at Spotify O-EAST sold out instantly, drawing attention across genres and solidifying their rising presence.

PAS TASTA reached out to me, and I joined the project as a vocalist. The original manga is incredibly entertaining. I found myself relating to the emotions of every character. The song "Pure" fits the anime perfectly right from the intro, and I think the unexpected sound choices really reflect the personality of the protagonist. Through the recording process, I felt PAS TASTA’s passion for the song and learned so much. I’m truly happy to have been part of this project, and I’m excited for the broadcast!

I am ecstatic that I got to compose the music for You and I Are Polar Opposites. I've read the series before the offer came, so imagine my surprise when they offered me this job! I created the soundtrack, hoping that the music will root for and cheer up the happy, lively characters in the show as well as the teenagers who live in the 2020s. I had such a great time composing the music, so I hope you enjoy the music of this series too.
